The company, which started to produce adult diapers, wet towels and pocket wipes in 2010, underpad covers in 2013 and sanitary pads in 2017, has been taking firm steps forward within the sector. One of the largest manufacturers of disposable hygiene products in Turkey, Eruslu produces 440 million baby diapers/month, 70 million baby pants/month, 100 million sanitary napkins/month, 85 million daily liners/month, 8.5 million adult diapers/month and 35 million wet wipes/month. This year, the company is adding three baby diaper production lines. Eruslu Hygienic Products produces not only finished products but also raw materials, making it a fully integrated manufacturer. The company produces 250 tons/day of spunbond nonwovens and 100 tons/day of spunlace nonwovens. In addition to nonwovens, Eruslu runs PE film production (350 tons/day), flexo printing (150 tons/day), lamination capacity (100 tons/day) and converting capacity (80 tons/day). Eruslu manufactures a range of brands in the baby care sector. Sleepy Sensitive is the first and only diaper brand in Turkey that is woven using pure water. Meanwhile, the brands Yess Baby, Baby Fit, Penguin and Sweet Baby feature ergonomic structures that adapt to the baby’s body with wide elastic side bands and include a protective cream that helps prevent diaper rash. Over the last few years the company has launched a number of items in the natural hygiene space. Its Sleepy Natural line of baby diapers and pants are woven using pure water and feature organic cotton and bamboo fibers. “Our product is the only one that has these three features in both diapers and pants,” says Firat Akinal, deputy export manager, Eruslu Hygienic Products. This year the company also launched Sleepy Bio Natural, baby diapers and pants that feature sugarcane-based biopolymer, allergen-free almond milk protein, bamboo and organic cotton. In feminine care, the company’s Sleepy Natural sanitary pads feature natural bamboo absorbent fibers and soft wings woven with pure water. In adult care, Eruslu offers the brands Actual, Fresh Life, Sleepy and Puremed, which include diapers, underpads and wipes. Eruslu also has a robust private label business. For customers who request private label baby diapers, wet towels, sanitary pads, adult diapers and care covers, Eruslu can carry out customer specific packaged production in requested quantities and parcel type by using ready-made designs or making new designs. The company currently handles many large brands, with significant capacity and turnover. Eruslu Hygienic Products exports to more than 120 countries worldwide within the Americas, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe, and continues to enhance its R&D in order to expand its business.
